Common Questions
Here are some questions we often get asked.
We provide loans on collateral, trade, buy and sell quality pre-owned goods including jewelry, electronics, firearms, and more. Our goal is to make sure you find exactly what you need at a fair price.
To pawn an item, bring it in along with a valid ID. We’ll assess its value, offer you a loan based on that value. We charge 20% interest plus a $5 finance charge. If you pay the borrowed amount, plus the interest due within the agreed timeframe, you can get your item back. An added bonus is, we offer what we call “10-in-10”, meaning, if you come back and pay the amount due within 10 days, we will only charge 10% interested instead of the standard 20%.
You will also receive a text inviting you to participate in MobilePawn, an App that allows you to make payments on your loan directly through the app. We will send text reminders, letting you know when you’re coming due, because we know how easy it is to get busy in life and forget.
Yes, you can sell your items directly to us. Just bring your items in, and we can provide you with a fair offer on the spot. To save time, if you question if we may take the item, you may want to call ahead and we’ll let you know if we’re currently taking the item in question.
We accept a wide range of items including electronics, jewelry, tools, firearms, and more. You can call us and inquire, or even email with pictures and description of your item/s, and we will be able to tell you what we are currently taking. Due to limited space and fluctuation of market needs, we may not be currently able to take certain items.
As of 11/15/25, we are currently looking for working record players. If you have one you’d like to turn into cash, give us a call.
**Please note: dirty, stickered, non-working items will either be turned away or will reduce the amount we may offer.
We are currently NOT taking musical instruments, skill saws, most corded tools that are now known to be cordless, bluetooth speakers, TVs under 65″, compound bows, household items, trinkets, crystal/glassware, or clothing.
Absolutely. We prioritize your privacy and ensure that all information shared with us is kept confidential and secure.
You have one calendar month to repay your loan, but we understand that life can happen. Feel free to talk to us if you need more time. You can “Renew” your loan, which gives you another calendar month from the date you renew. You can “Extend” your loan by paying a few dollars to extend for a few days and those dollars count toward your interest and prevent us from expiring your loan. (Note, if you use extensions, you may incur a 2nd month’s interest.)
Though you’re always welcome to come into the store to make your payment, we completely understand in this area that this could happen. We offer MobilePawn for your convenience. You can make payments directly from the app. If you haven’t signed up or downloaded the app, give us a call and we’ll re-send that text link for you to access your account and make that payment.
We do NOT accept returns. Purchases are as-is, all sales final. Some exceptions apply and are at the owner’s discretion. We recommend testing and verifying electronics at the time of purchase. We’ll be happy to show current working order at the time of purchase.
We believe in fair pricing. Our items are priced competitively, but it’s always worth having a conversation. Feel free to ask us for any adjustments. If you don’t like our prices, tell us yours.
Though we do prefer cash because of the nature of our business, but we accept Cash, Debit, Credit, Venmo, Paypal, ApplePay, GooglePay and CashApp for all purchases. There is a 3% “Non-Cash Convenience Fee” for anything used that is not cash.
We ONLY accept CASH and DEBIT with PIN for pawn transactions.
Using MobilePawn is also an option if you can’t make it to the store in person.
If you don’t repay the loan on time, your collateral will be forfeited and becomes ours to do as we wish, but you keep the loan, no questions asked.
If your loan is forfeit and you would like to get your item/s back, and they’re still in our possession, we will be happy to work with you and allow you to re-activate your loan and pay any outstanding balance due, to get your item back.

Yes, we offer gift cards in various amounts. It’s a great way to let someone choose exactly what they want!
Yes! We offer layaway options with zero interest.
STANDARD OPTIONS:
$100-$499 – minimum of 10% down and 30 days to pay off.
$500-$999 – minimum of 15% down and 60 days to pay off.
Over $1,000 – minimum 20% down and 90 days to pay off.
Payments can be made in any amount up to the final payment AND you can use the MobilePawn App to make layaway payments.
You can set the frequency of payments (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) and our system will send text reminders that your payment is coming due.
Give us a call and we can update your phone number in our system. We can also reactivate mobile pawn with your new number.
